Solar, Vehicle & ICT Answers

Answers to the questions Nigerian operators ask most often — across solar deployments, vehicle orders, and ICT projects.

What Nigerian operators usually need to know first

Can EuroVista handle the full project end-to-end?

Yes. From assessment through design, sourcing, installation, training, and SLA-based maintenance — across solar, vehicles, and ICT.

Do you verify suppliers before payment?

Yes — every supplier passes the same 5-stage check (licence, factory, export credentials, references, samples) before any deposit.

What information should I send for a quote?

Site type, scope, location, and timing. For vehicles: type, specs, quantity. For ICT/Solar: load profile, site dimensions, critical loads.

Solar & Power Systems

What size solar system fits my facility?

Sizing comes from your daily kWh load, the critical loads you need to keep online, available roof or ground space, and budget. EuroVista runs a short site assessment, then proposes grid-tie, hybrid, or off-grid configurations with the right inverter, battery, and panel mix.

Do solar panels and inverters need SONCAP?

Yes. Solar panels, inverters, and batteries are SON-regulated in Nigeria. EuroVista coordinates Form M, Product Certificate, SONCAP Certificate, and import documentation through licensed agents where required.

What warranty applies to solar gear?

Panels carry typical 10–12 year product warranty and 25 year performance warranty. Inverters carry 5 year warranty. EuroVista coordinates warranty claims and provides ongoing maintenance under SLA.

How are lithium batteries shipped to Nigeria?

LiFePO4 packs ship by sea under UN38.3 with MSDS and proper labelling. Air freight is possible for smaller volumes but with surcharges and cell-size limits — sea is usually the right call.

Vehicles & Mobility

What kinds of vehicles can EuroVista source?

Commercial vehicles, logistics vans and trucks, project and utility vehicles, electric vehicles, and construction site-support vehicles. Each request goes through a feasibility review for supplier access, shipping, and Nigerian compliance.

Is there a minimum order quantity for vehicles?

No fixed MOQ. We source single specialised units for project work and multi-unit fleets for logistics operators. Pricing improves with volume.

How long does a vehicle order take?

Lead time depends on stock vs. build-to-order — typically 6 to 12 weeks ex-factory plus 35 to 50 days transit and clearance to Nigeria. We share an itemised schedule with the quote.

What about EV charging in Nigeria?

Practical EV deployments in Nigeria typically need on-site solar-backed charging because grid availability is uneven. We can package an EV order with a matching solar-charging system from our Solar & Power tier.

ICT & Smart Systems

Microsoft 365 vs Google Workspace — which should we pick?

It depends on existing tools, document workflow, and regulatory needs. EuroVista is platform-neutral. We map current operations and propose the platform that fits, then run the migration.

Do you handle ongoing IT support?

Yes. SLA-based managed IT support across multiple Nigerian states, combining remote support and on-site visits with documented response and resolution times. We can embed support engineers for larger institutional deployments.

Can you support sites without reliable internet?

Yes. We design offline-capable workflows, edge-cached resources, and intermittent-sync deployments — common for rural schools, clinics, and field projects. Solar-backed Starlink kits handle most rural connectivity needs.

Why combine ICT with solar power?

In Nigeria, ICT uptime depends on power uptime. EuroVista designs solar-backed ICT systems — power-stabilised server rooms, hybrid power for Starlink kits, and rural connectivity packages — so networks, servers, and operations stay online when the grid does not.

Compliance & Logistics

Can I pay in Nigerian Naira?

Yes. All EuroVista transactions are conducted in Nigerian Naira. You pay us directly in Naira; we handle supplier payment and foreign-exchange coordination. There are no international wire transfers or FX requirements on your end.

How does supplier verification work?

Our team verifies every supplier through: (1) Business licence authentication with relevant authorities, (2) factory visit and production capacity assessment, (3) export credential verification, (4) reference checks with existing clients, and (5) sample quality testing. Verification happens before any deposit goes out.

What documents are mandatory to import into Nigeria?

Form M, Proforma Invoice, Bill of Lading or Airway Bill, PAAR, and Certificate of Origin are mandatory. SONCAP applies to SON-regulated goods (solar, electronics, automotive, building products). NAFDAC applies to food, drugs, cosmetics, chemicals.

Do I need a CAC-registered company?

Not necessarily. Individual and project-based engagements are welcome. For commercial imports as the named importer of record, a CAC registration helps — alternatively EuroVista can be the named importer through our brokerage service.
